Program Note
"In the dark cold winter months, we find ourselves on the side of the sun
where we can best see particularly bright stars, contrasting the blues of
Rigel and Capella with the oranges of Betelgeuse and Arcturus, and spying
the Pleiades high in the sky, away from the city lights of the horizon.
But these, too, are months when we rush indoors for hot cocoa--and for each other's company."
--Matthew H. Fields
